Right of Cancellation
Withdraw online: use our online form. All you need is your order number and the e-mail address you ordered with – no customer account, no login.
Consumers, that is any individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession, are entitled to cancel a contract on the following conditions:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANCELLATION
1. Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several items in one order and we deliver them separately, the period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last item. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this page, but it is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right to cancel online using our online form. If you use this online function, we will send you without delay a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) with information on the content of your cancellation and the date and time it was received.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
2. Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and not later than fourteen days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Trying a piece on as you would in a shop is not such handling.
3. Exclusion of the right to cancel
The right to cancel is excluded for contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or determination by you is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to your personal requirements. This covers pieces we make to your specification, for example an engraving, a ring size outside the size range offered in our shop, or an alloy or material that differs from the catalogue item.
Choosing a size from the size range offered in our shop is not an individual production. For those items the right to cancel applies in full.
RETURNS FROM OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
What follows does not limit your right to cancel.
A return from outside the European Union has to be declared to German customs as returned goods. This is complicated and easy to get wrong, so we take care of it for you. Before you send anything, please declare your cancellation using our online form or contact us at trading@werkstatt-muenchen.com. We will send you a FedEx return label together with the customs documents. For the label and the customs handling we charge a flat fee of 50.00 €, which we offset against your refund.
You may also arrange the return yourself. In that case, please ask us for the customs documents before sending. You bear the cost of the return either way.
Customs duties, import taxes and handling fees that you paid when the item was delivered to you were paid to the authorities of your country, not to us. We cannot reimburse them. Depending on your country, you may be able to reclaim them from your own customs authority.
